Five things we do to a bag.
Cleaning and conditioning, recolouring and edge painting, zip and hardware replacement, lining replacement, corner and handle rebuild. Which of them your item needs is something we tell you after we have seen it — not before.
Assessment is free and we do it before you commit
Every repair we take on.
What a bag needs depends on the item, how it was made and how it has been carried. Send photographs and we will tell you which of these apply.

Cleaning and conditioning
Leather, suede and canvas. Surface dirt and body oils are lifted, then the hide is conditioned so it is fed rather than left dry. On an older bag this is often the first thing done, and sometimes it is all that is needed before anything else is judged.
- 02
Recolouring and edge painting
Where the finish has worn back. Scuffed panels and rubbed corners are brought back to an even colour, and the raw edges of straps, flaps and handles are painted and sealed again so they stop fraying.
- 03
Zip, clasp and hardware replacement
A zip that has split or lost its slider, a clasp that will not hold, feet, rings and rivets worn through. Replaced so the bag closes and carries the way it was built to.
- 04
Lining replacement and interior repair
A lining that has torn, stained or gone sticky is taken out and replaced, and the interior pockets and seams are repaired while the bag is open.
- 05
Corner and handle rebuild
The two places a carried bag goes first. Corners are rebuilt where they have worn through to the layers beneath, and handles are remade so the bag keeps its shape under load.

Before you commit.
Assessment is free and we do it before you commit. This is what happens between your first message and a price.
What it costs to ask
Nothing. We assess the item first and quote after.
How we quote
Per item, once we have seen it. What the work involves depends on the bag in front of us.
How long it takes
2 to 4 weeks, we tell you the range after we see the item.
How to start
Email photographs of the item and the damage, or bring it to the workshop in Toa Payoh.
What you hear from us
A photo update at every stage, so you can see exactly what we are doing to your bag.
